How quote expiry works
Quotes expire after their Valid Until date, and JobFlo keeps you posted.
Every quote has a Valid Until date (30 days out by default, which you can change when building it). If the client has not responded by then, the quote expires automatically.
- Two days before a quote expires, you get an email digest of quotes about to lapse so you can follow up.
- On the expiry date, an unanswered quote is marked as Expired and you are emailed to let you know.
- A client who opens the link to an expired quote is told it has expired and to contact you for an updated one.
Expired is not a dead end. Open the quote and tap Create Revision to send a fresh version with a new expiry date.
These emails are timed for 8am in your local timezone, which is set from your business address — so follow-up reminders land at the start of your day.
