Camera and photo permissions

App only

What JobFlo asks to access on your phone, why, and how to change it later.

The first time you attach a photo in the app, your phone asks whether JobFlo can use your camera and photo library. JobFlo only asks so you can add pictures to your work.

  • Camera — to snap a receipt or a job photo on the spot and attach it to an expense, quote or invoice.
  • Photos — to pick an existing picture from your library, or to upload your business logo.

You can tap Allow to use these features, or Don’t Allow if you’d rather not. If you decline, JobFlo still works — you just won’t be able to add photos from that source until you turn it back on.

Changing permissions later

These permissions are always yours to change in your phone’s Settings, not inside JobFlo.

  1. On iPhone: open Settings, scroll to JobFlo, and switch Camera or Photos on or off.
  2. On Android: open Settings, go to Apps, tap JobFlo, then Permissions, and adjust Camera there.

If the camera or photo picker isn’t opening when you tap Add photo, it’s almost always because the permission is switched off in Settings. Turn it back on and try again.
